The ginnel leading from the car park to Poulton Street gets a fabulous mural.
Leading street artists Aylo Nomad and Seca One joined together to work on a mural to transform a ginnel in Kirkham as part of the Heritage Action Zone project to unlock the potential of the high street aiding economical, social and cultural recovery.
Inspired by Kirkham’s rich heritage, the mural depicts a Roman bust highlighting Kirkham’s history as a large roman settlement including a fort sited on Carr Hill in around 70AD, together with other images representing Kirkham’s association with the weaving trade. The mural was nominated for a Street Art Cities award.
